Causeway Bay, large international shopping emporiums Times Square, Sogo etc. give Causeway Bay a bit more international flavour. Many stylish boutique hotels here. Northpoint / QuarryBay, Hong Kong's fast developing commercial centre.	Kowloon Hotel Areas Kowloon is the peninsula of mainland China and home to Nathan Road, the area's fabled shopping destination. Major areas include Tsim Sha Shui/Jordan and Mongkok. Tsim Sha Tsui. Facing Hong Kong island from across Victoria Harbour Kowloon is an attraction unto itself. Known for the famous Nathan Road shopping area hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui run the gambit from small budget hotels exclusive five star properities. Mongkok, known for its many discount markets (Ladies Night Market, Jade Market, electronics market etc.) Mangkok is now starting to move upscale with beautiful new shopping centres and hotels to match. First up is the Hong Kong Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2009 running from 08 - 11 July followed by the Hong Kong Book Fair 23 - 29 July. No matter what your taste in books or comics, the Hong Kong Book Fair 2008 is sure to have something for you. Then starting on 11 July until 17 Aug Hong Kong hosts the International Arts Carnival 2008 bringing Hong Kong to life with a series of entertaining programmes including music, dance, drama, puppetry, acrobatics, clowning, film and theatrical arts. All in all a great month to visit Hong Kong but with Hong Kong hotels reporting very high occupancies those planning to visit over the next month or so would do better to book as quickly as possible for the best choice and rate.
