with a brief description of what's in store...
Times Square
Address: 1 Matheson Street, Causeway
Bay
Description: Everything you need
under on roof.
Located in the busy Causeway Bay district, Times Square is perhaps
the most popular mall on Hong Kong. It has high end branded boutiques
to local brands of mid price budget and is conveniently located
right above the MTR. With 20 floors worth of retail nirwana organized
by types, restaurants on the 10th to 13th floor, budget eateries,
snack bars and cafes in the basements and of course the essential
cinema with the latest films to relax and unwind at the end of fantastic
day shopping.
Sogo
Address: 555 Hennessy Road, Causeway
Bay
Description: Japan's most famous
departmental store.
This landmark is everyone's favourite meeting place around Causeway
Bay. Be warned the after working hours crowds are truly scary in
size. This Hong Kong branch of the big Japanese chain is the very
last word in shopping bliss.
Pacific Place
Address: 88 Queensway Admiralty
Description: The Queen of shopping
malls.
Occupying one of the most exclusive commercial buildings with many
multinational tenants, Pacific Place is known as the classiest,
of Hong Kong's shopping centres. There are a host of specialty stores
for men, women, children and home furnishings with the crème
del la crème of brand names department stores and many top
end designer brand boutiques making it is every shopper's fantasy.
As well there are any number of fine restaurants and large food
court and cinema to fill every shoppers' hungry stomach!
Landmark
Address: 1 Pedder Street Central
Description: High end fashion
mall.
Landmark used to be 'The Place' to shop until Pacific Place came
along. Whilst it may not have the size and variety of Pacific Place
it is still nonetheless a great place to shop with lots of high
fashion and unique boutiques and good eating. And it's location
in Central is second to none.
City Plaza
Address: 111 King's Road, Tai
Koo Shing Quarry Bay
Description: Mid-priced shopping.
City Plaza is the largest shopping centre in eastern Hong Kong.
With its focus on mid priced stores and entertainment facilities
(there is a with a ice skating rink, cinema and great restaurants)
this is another of Hong Kong's favourite all around shopping venues.
